Things I will miss about KwaDukuza

King Shaka's Memorial - Eshowe. King Shaka was the man whose kingdom stretched from the Mozambique border in the north to the South Coast of present-day KwaZulu-Natal.  He was respected among the Zulus and his memories still live on.

Mahatma Ghandi's statue in the heart of Stanger KwaDukuza. The story behind his statue in KwaDukuza in unclear to me. However, KwaDukuza is one of the places with lots of Indians in the KwaZulu-Natal.

Yes, it's sugarcane plantation. Sugarcane farming is really huge in KwaDukuza and its surrounding. I would always  buy it for consumption at the toll gate from Ballito.

BOXER! My favourite store :-) . It's probably in every townships in South Africa.

Arrival at South Africa Durban Mission (2017)

(Left to right) Elder Blamo, Elder Mustapha, Elder Kamara, Elder Deen and Elder Cobinah upon arriving at the King Shaka International Airport in Durban.

My first orientation in the South Africa Durban Mission with Sister Wood. She was such a nice person, but she was almost done with her mission by the time I got there.

In the mission home sometime in 2017

Elder Mustapha displays his first assigned area (Molweni) with Elder Thompson.

Mpumalanga Township (aka Hammersdale)

The beauty of Mpumalanga Township lies in the topographic view.

Mpumalanga Ward, just across from Elangeni College. One of the most beautiful chapels to ever serve in the South Africa Durban Mission.

A view that attracts me a lots in Mpumalanga. This Township is such a beautiful place.

Most of the townships in South Africa are kept neat and tidy.

A thick cloud over the Township. South African weather is something else. Literally one can experience winter, autumn summer and spring in an hours' time.
